This may seem a little extreme, but there is a method to the madness.







I (almost) never use TC or Beagle unless it's to fill up extra tonnage, check those buttons, Arms for UAVs, Torso for poking.

Just don't alpha... ever. Instant shut down and CT DMG... ghost heat...is...not...cannon.

Plz don't ban me bra.

Never underestimate the classics... 4xASRM-6 is perfectly viable on a KFX.

Why suffer from ghost heat when you can no-sell ghost heat?
Off course this one is rather trashy, but it can spit out 2 alphas in 10 seconds with cool run/heat management skills.

I love the heavies, because of the better h/dps

I had a half a ton free and no other place to spend it. Allows faster targeting data (along with the TC), but I should have dropped the cockpit armor for a one ton probe. Since this build, I started mixing in some ERML to free up slots for more heat sinks, works good, still have to watch out for accidental alphas, but they aren't so bad. Especially since I can fit more heat sinks.

There a million different ways to do it, depending on your level of OCD...

This one keeps the ER's in the arms for UAVs

Use the heavies for poking.



This one lets you have one arm with the Lower Arm Actuator, which actually lets BOTH arms swing with about 25% of what both actuators give you, interesting quirk, thanks PGI. (I just tested it, to be sure)



It's my current favorite method (if laser vomiting). I mostly keep them on chain fire, but I just tested it on Terra Therma, and an alpha shut me down with NO damage , and I was back to zero heat in 16 seconds, not bad. I was able to get 6 half alphas before 100% heat.

I know the ERs generate more heat/dps, but they generate less heat per firing cycle and allow slightly more range, add that to more space for heat sinks, and you can watch that heat drops like a rock.

Anywho thats the code for my build above it's a great light shield for protecting assasults as it will 1 hit a pirahana/anything under 30 tons. Is a great backstabbing assassin and it's an amazing kill secure mech as well
