Strikes, Enhances Spotting?

Just was curious with all the changes do people still say take that node? Before it helped tighten things up to get more shells, But with the way they are now, and how long they take, is that still the best option? I know my strikes just miss fairly often and it makes me wonder if that greater spread is actually a good thing these days.

I personally never take accuracy for artillery strikes. I also never use air strikes because well they suck that's why.
With the spread you hit more folk and you have more chances of hitting people backing off from the orange smoke.

For Arty - you need the enhanced spotting to tighter the spread IMO

If I have points to invest in additional nodes for Arty/Air strikes, then I'll go for the full complement and cut corners elsewhere.

So hitting is better than the random miss/slightly hit?

Well yeah you want the strike to hit as many times as possible.

ESP in QP - where everyone just clumps up on ramps etc.

There's a few commonly played maps in quick play where the enemy ALWAYS ends up gathering that have some really nifty "hiding" spots to place your air strikes that can end up getting some really great hits.

You have to know of the spots and when to place them, but you can basically do it blind without even having to "see" the enemy to know they're there.

just like COD grenade kills at the start of the map.. You know where they are coming from so heave one in the right spot and free kill..

Yea... But i can't even tell you how many times i drop the perfect strike and someone sees it and they all run.. That spread would help. I'm really thinking about dropping it and seeing if my damage goes up.

Does this mean that Air strike spreads longer too? Or is it just an airstrike spread?

It makes the airstrikes tighter, too. Spotting makes the grouping tighter, Advanced Salvos adds more shells to it (which would make the Airstrike reach further).
