I think at this point, it's probably better to just do the big Assault sale anyway, given that the Event is almost over.

Hey Matt, thanks for the response about the assault sales. I know it's a little late, but would it be possible to extend the Day 9 challenge until the discounts are available if you can't figure out the issue by tomorrow?

I'm not really drawn to lock-on weapons, and over time not having used them has become a streak I'd like to keep alive (I somehow launched with c-SSRM2s once, so it's not 100% but it's close.) The STK-3F(C) build runs LRMs, so I'd prefer to buy a Stalker to tinker with than use the trial mech (these challenges have been a great nudge to try new chassis and builds!) The thing is, it smarts to spend a good portion of what c-bills I have left after the recent engine sale on a mech knowing that it's going to go on sale immediately after the event for which I'd want to buy it ends. I know that this self-imposed restriction might seem a little silly, but I might not be the only player in this (non-LRM) boat.

Overall, though, these past two weeks have been a lot of fun. Thanks for all the events recently!

I don't think you have to use lock on weapons just deploy UAVs for your team to use and destroy the enemy ones. Could be wrong I finished that one without checking the event.

I would support extending Day 9 challenge because of the problems with assault sale I don't have a Highlander IIC and if I'd buy one without a sale, I'd lose roughly 6 mil of C-Bills..

Day 9 is extended to match Day 11!!!

PLEASE NOTE
You can use Trial Mechs to finish the day 9 Challenges until the patch at which point the Trial Mechs will be changing.
