The MCII-1 is the poor man's Deathstrike. I run mine with 2xLBX20 and some lasers. The MCII-2 is also fun, like the -1 but with less lazors, moar missiles. A bigger Scorch if you will.

deathstrike is very solid, albeit cheesy and not quite as OP as it once was, but its byfar the only mech that can puke out a 77 point alfa strike (still over 60 at 600m), and not be immobile or have trash hitboxes/agility.

mcii-1 is not too bad either, albeit it is a poor man's deathstrike since it has 2 less energy hardpoints (imo better builds on it is either 2gr+2lpl+2erml or 2gr+3erll, maybee 2gr+2ppc if you can play around ghost heat issue).

obviously mcii-b is very good (2x10+2x5 dakka, or alternatively 2x10+1x20 if you want to do 80 damage in under a second but up close only).

slepnir is very good (2xhgr, 4xlb10, hell even 5x uac5 isnt too bad), but its a shorter range mech so you need to be able to brawl in a somewhat slow moving robit (its stupidly agile, just wont go past high 50s with any half decent build).

the only other variant id consider decent is the splatclops (dont remember model, the 1 with stupid amount of SRMs on it), not long ago it was one of the better is assault brawlers as it could move and puke out so many missiles if it could get into 300m.

I own 9 Mad Cat MK IIs...
