I know this is general chat, but It seems this is the only forum section with a population, so I thought I might ask for help here. I would really appreciate help.

After patching, the MWO portal doesn't work anymore for me. It gives me a message telling me:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package
"MWO_Portal_Installer.msi" in the box below.

Well, I just went to Bin64 folder and manually started MWOClient.exe. Game started right up. I guess thats how I'll do it from now on.

And support takes several years to respond so..... didn't wanna go that route.

Why not use Steam instead of MWO Portal? The only disadvantage is lack of PTS access (which requires the portal).

delete your icon on desk top and make a new icon from the exe file that ran...

I had this happen once on a patch as well
