Every other aspect of the game seems to be fine lately, except faction mode is unplayable due to memory crashes, single digit frame rates, vanishing radar, see through terrain, and crashes that can only be fixed by cold rebooting machine. WIN10 freezes on a non ALT-Tabbable, Non ALT-F4 able, non CTRL-ALT-DELable blank screen of death. I'm not on a old machine and the install is fresh on a reserved SSD with only MWO on it. It happens pretty reliably in forest colony, and even though I've gotten a successful game on one other map, it seems a successful drop in faction play is about 15% of drops. I can't leave without being penalized, so I let my mech run in circles till the team dies. I can hear the voice chat of people yelling and bitching, but it's a waste of time for me to try this mode again. All quick play modes work without a hitch. I also play IS, so it's a double waste of time seeing as IS gets prison sexed every game it seems from my glitchy, stuttering, see through world view.

Might want to run the repair tool

I understand your frustration. I have attempted the "new" faction play twice and experienced immediate crashes at the start of the drop both times (after running the repair tool). Sadly it worries me about the quality of the stand-alone PC version. If the developers can't get this right you have to wonder. Still I hope they get it ironed out.
