Quad peeps on the BL is really the only "legit" build it can do.
I sold both of those mechs with the intention of buying the Corsair 7A when it comes for cbills, and I prefer the Warhawk for PPCs.

Edit: Just ran some tests. With all the Velocity nodes, the speed of the ERPPC is almost as fast as that of a Gauss round
and with all the Heat Gen., Heat Containment and Cool Run nodes, the heat is quite manageable.

The broadside is utter trash, the bludgeon is a decent quad PPC mech@80 tons with 1 less sink than a warhawk but a JJ to compensate. Also it has lower arm actutators for easier light tracking.

I've seen some Broadsides do decent with some combination of a big ballistic + big MRMs. The quirks say to do Gauss + LL but they're lying to you.
For the Bludgeon...yeah...I dunno.

Yeah, I was trying the MRM 30 + Dual Guass + ERMLs build with a LFE 300 just to stick with the quirks. It's ok but I don't know what else to do with it. The Siren, La Malinche and Broadside are keeping each other company is what they're doing right now.

I went 2xAC10, ERPPC, 3xRL10s. +Dual LAMS.
It works for me, ymmv.
