Just wondering if anyone else feels that when you equip the Pipe-Organ cockpit item (that both came with the RFL-IIC packages, and is being given out as part of this current XP Event), that it seems.....obnoxiously large when it's actually inside any of the Riflemen ?

I noticed this very early on Day-1 of the release, when you realize that not only is the Cockpit view slightly narrow (by default) in the RFL-IIC's, but that with the Pipe Organ in, you sort of lose 1/4 of your left / right vision, (the corners of the cockpit) when you are at the default / most zoomed out view. It becomes less of an issue when you zoom once, twice, or (with Advanced Zoom perk) even further, but at the normal view - it's very intrusive, I think ?

--

The curious thing - which I only noticed while watching Baradul's MW-5 King Crab video, a few hours earlier, is that when the same Pipe Organ is in the KGC....magically it appears far less over-sized and intrusive ! I can only assume this is because PGI scales the Assault Cockpits to be literally bigger than the other mechs (which would make sense, in Lore - etc), but is that the reason why the Organ seems 1/2 sized in those mechs (I tested it just now in my own Annihilator and Marauder-II's and the same thing is observed - smaller size, like when in the KGC) ?

--------------

(I realize this is kind of a minor issue - was just wondering if anyone else felt the same and if PGI might consider shrinking it a bit, in future patches, just to make it slightly less cockpit obscuring ? The sound effect itself is great - love that part of it !) Posted Image

Yes it's annoying as heck, I think the Rifleman IIC cockpit window may be closer to the pilot than in the KGC so the organ is also closer so maybe that's why.

I didn't bother with the pipe organ war horns since I wasn't really too fond of them. They should rescale them to be smaller if enough people complained about them if it does bother you.

Oh I'm so glad I wasn't alone in noticing this ! haha :-) (Update - I just tried it in a "normal" IS-Rifleman and oddly enough - it's once again "smaller / less annoying" - than in the II-C's ! Something definitely weird about that visual , methinks)

We're going to look at the Scale of the Item and see what, if anything, can be done.

Thank you, Matt !

* I did one additional minor test on this, with the Roughneck mech - and it appears it might be (as some speculated) also a factor of "how close the Pilots Chair" has been coded to be, relative to the cockpit glass. On the Roughneck, I put one of those Chloe Cavalier Horse Heads that spit fire on a kill on, and noticed the head appeared quite large. Tried one of the Pipe Organs and boom -same thing as with the RFL-IIC's. The Organ looks huge (in cockpit). I think that might also be a factor. In any case, appreciate you guys looking into it for us Posted Image
