Johnny Rico's Way To Fix Faction Play Play

This is simply my brainstorm,feel free to chime in(not like you need my permission...this is the internet)


How to fix Fp

Step 1: No more selecting between freelancer,merc or loyalist,you no longer have to population for this many options,so all 3 gone,make a faction xp for cbills,gxp and mechbay grinds

Step 2: Scouting and invaision stays seperate,because forcing people to play a game mode they dont like will make them simply not play mwo. scouting wins lands you 2% boost to xp,1%boost to cbills,maxing at 10%xp 5%cbills boost per faction cycle (so 5 wins max,but losses will knock you back one example:i win 3 matches but lost the 4th,so i have 4%xp 2 %cbills boost for the 24 hour cycle)


Step 3 :Echoing step one a bit here on the Low pop and lots of faction options,all players go into same line,once 24 players are reached,BOOM RNG who plays which faction, once "locked" a 2 minute timer begins with map and mode up,and enemy team,(this next bit is up for debate) after 30 seconds a surrender option will pop up,surrendering will net you a 10 minute FP penalty to ALL members of surrendering team(the surrender option is LITERALLY for emp/bcmc or whatever they are called)
* some days clan vs is,others IS vs IS or clan vs clan
** also seperate preselected decks for ISFP and CLANFP

Step 4: Increase rewards for lance in formation,kmdds,solo kills etc,every reward that would help team based combat.maybe add penalties for EXTREME early perma's....up for debate im getting ahead here


Step 5 :maybe some shouts outs on NGNG or dev tweets like: Big shout out to MS for taking terra in FP,good fights blah blah blah....its the little things guys/gals the little things

And finally once this is all in GIVE US THAT SWEET SWEET TUKK

Anyways,this is just an idea from a pretty much FP exclusive player,im not the best,but id like to think my team is.So if you could,lets save FP !!!

I think it would be great for premade drop decks to be forced for some battles, it could create a lot of lore friendly and interesting situations.

actually not what i meant,but it is a good idea,adds some lore.

We already have preset drop decks depending on which side you unit is aligned with. Putting someone with only clan mechs on the IS side would be a disaster. To fit lore, clan shoul d be ONLY loyalists no freelancers or mercs. Clanners despise mercs. I'd like to see the cougar released some of the mechcommander mechs in mwo.

Step 1 - So you just want Quick Play

Step 2 - Goes against what PGI/Paul are doing with Story Mode so logically that will never happen.

Step 3 - Goes against Story mode, playing for your side, being loyalist and story mode. Logically, that's totally against the latest patch and stated direction from PGI. So that'll logically never happen.

Step 4 - We just received a 15% increase as per recent patch.

Step 5 - Planets will never realistically be taken ever again. Just how the mode is now designed/played out. Only a large Tukk event where it is split via wins rather than Tug-o-War will that happen.


So Step 6 - Lets no do any of that and make FP even worse.

1: no i want to play mwo,me and my 8 man waited 20 minutes ,12 am est....about 27/30 split when we started seaching...never got a game...i dont qp i want to ACTUALLY play fp.

2: its an online shooter....save the lore for mw5 at this point you dont have the players to let wait in line

3:story modes are for single player co-op games,not shooters

4:forgot about that,fair enough

5:cool

6 so do nothing and let it die,becasue at this point until wait times are down,less and less will play fp

Go read the FP forum and all Paul's posts on the matter. You'll see how far removed you are as to what's going to be happening.

And i may be,i havent seen anything that will fix wait times...but i could be wrong.
Like i said this is MY way to fix FP,right or wrong,just a thought,better than the"you ruined the game im uninstalling" posts....anyways see you on the battlefeild ash
