RACs do enough damage per trigger pull :)

PGI has a motherlode of bad-ideas, they had bad track record, and MWO weapons bad implementation and bad balance. If you think you won by defaulting to PGI? Really we all lost.

Making a LBX5 not do 5 damage is a much worse idea than PGI's normal bad ideas though... especially when spread or cooldown tweak can easily fix the weapon

i like this idea.

though i like to point out that an lb-10 has size/tonnage advantage over their respective ac that the other lbs dont have. so those should get a little extra. giving the other acs a boost as well would certainly help the 5 and 20, though not sure the 2 needs it. and i wouldnt mind having crit splitting to help the lb20 fit into more mechs.

The LB10 is some kind of lore thing that must be so from what I understand. Changing it would upset the lore fanatic, which is always a bad idea.

i understand that. but the is lb-10 is the only lbx gun that offers proper tradeoffs. its unique and should not be used as a baseline. i do like the relationship between the is 10 and the clan 10, is getting better max range and velocity, and the clan version being lighter/smaller. both get a cooldown buff over their equivalent uacs. the 10 class most certainly should not be the baseline for the others. this is the point i was trying to make.

the 2s and 20s are in a good place, though id like to see a buff to the is 20 to compensate for the need to run an std engine, give me a reason to use it over the hgauss. perhaps the spread of a 10 or a cd buff.

i think both ac5s and lb5s need a 1.5s cd. and you might want to reduce the ac5 gh limit to 4 or 5 so this is not a direct buff to ac5 boats. also a gh limit of 6 doesnt make sense as there are no mechs that can carry more than 6 (well there is the ultraviolet but you have to strip a lot of armor and will have an ammo shortage, 7 with full armor and 2 tons ammo).
