You did significant team damage or got a TK in one match; dropped before it was over and then did significant team damage or got a TK in the next match.

I remember dropping an airstrike and calling it. And calling it again as 3 or 4 alpha Lance ran through it on a Nascar chase...Got ~150 team damage. 😟 Maybe another one back to back. People don't listen sometimes.

I'll be honest with you; Even if you did call it out your team was probably too close to give up the charge anyways.

I call this greedy smoke.

Artillery Strikes are a great way to stop your team from Nascaring into it, most of the time.
If they choose to continue through it, its fun watching them take damage.
Its a win win situation Posted Image

Maybe instead of trying to convince your teammates not to nascar by causing a lot of team damage intentionally just learn how it works and exploit it instead.

The other day I Thought I was going to get a bit of a time out, I think I did about 100 team damage because the game was lagging so bad and I didn’t realize it right away. Needless to say I was not very popular with people that game.

If you yell broken arrow, is it still a war crime?

got a team kill yesterday, on an uziel, he walked right into the smoke, I was yelling for him to back up. He didn't listen. I got 10 second time out.

Okay so; if you dropped one so close an 80kph-ish mech can walk in you are definitely dropping greed smoke too close to the team.

There were two reds on the corner. I dropped sm9ke THEN uzi walked into it despite me calling it when i dropped it, like i always do. He still walked into and didn't reverse despite me telling him to, i even called him by name. It wasn't a greed strike by any metric.

Dropping a strike on two reds around a corner close to your own team is def a greed strike.

Dropping strikes in the path of your own advancing team is the exact opposite of how it's supposed to be done, If you dropped it in close enough range that your own mechs can end up in it within seconds it's a bad strike.

The CO didn't call Broken Arrow.

They aren't for us to drop and then demand that the other pilots adjust to the incoming shells, but many people see it that way.

The best time to use strikes is early on in the game when there is a deathball.

Something else that can apparently "get" you without your knowledge: "ghost" games. There's been reports here on forums of pilots playing a match like normal, even surviving to end of match, and getting hit with "you left early" penalty. Seems sometimes you'll be attached to a second match -- where you seem to be a disco from the get-go.

Maybe that bug hit the OP, along with the unfortunate arty strike?

I've seen a few of those weird gitches as you descride, maybe one every few weeks. Didn't know that was a known thing.

As to the uziel, i was b3at to hell and facing two reds right around the corner. Only blue team near was the uziel behind me. I dropped smoke and called it then he ran up. I dont see how i can be faulted for that. Maybe people should pay attention.

I always use airstrikes too. So they are aimed shots. If people listen i can safely drop them a few meters away. And i like corners because red team can't see the smoke.
