I'm leaning towards the Prime variant so that I can get 5 SRM6s with ECM but the 9 missile hardpoint battlemech variant is very inviting. I can't get both at the moment. So, I'm having a hard time deciding.

ACW-1 is brutal, the Omnimech has more utility. It can have ECM, JJs, the like. I'd say get both. But i'm an enthusiast.

the battlemech. it is a staple in my fw-brawldecks and never disappoints.

*I also like the omnis, and you can do A LOT with em. but as you said you can afford only one, take the BM.
and just for the lols: try the 8x srm6. far from perfect, but you'll have fun

I own all but one... the one with the lopsided mounts... just seemed to be too similar as the others, supply nothing new, and be lopsided.

I love them, they have great twist angles, relatively quick and nimble, and the omni's even have extra CT armor.

So dont buy just one.... collect them all!

The only flaw is, just like a dog, you cant look up.

The battlemech varients, i made them faster. Gave them bigger engines and have a lot of fun with em... 9 srm 2s can really annoy the heck outta anyone dumb enough to fall outta formation. Nothing scares me in that beast, volley every second. splat, splat, splat...

I had a few good games in my Javelins and got enough C-bills to buy both the Prime and ACW 1 variants. Now, I have more MC than C-bills. Thanks a lot, guys. Really... thanks *sigh* The plight of a casual.

Edit:- Anyone noticed that if your loadout cost exceeds the C-bills that you have, you cannot save the Loadout Profile? I just want to save it as a preset....

Edit:- Nevermind. It seemed like some bug. I clicked on Import, cancelled and tried to save the loadout again. It works now. Weird.
