I know that sometimes we (I) complain about the mwo servers disconnecting players...

...but now, I'm the one who seems to be having ISP issues with Spectrum and I keep triggering the penalty system because of this.

Oh Mech Gods, why have thou forsaken me?

My connection keeps going "limited" on and off and when this happens, even though the internet resets a few seconds later, I still get disco'd.

I'm not saying this is the fault of PGI but it sucks for me. Verizon and Spectrum both do the same stuff

I find it irksome how bad applications are at handling problems at the network level, especially problems due to intermittent connectivity. Games are especially bad for this, where a disconnect often requires a lengthy procedure to rejoin, including reloading the game's resources in particularly egregious cases of piss-poor programming.
