Make Ferro Fiberous Worth It

Why doesnt Ferro fiberous actually add more armor per ton other then weight? It would be worth using it a lot more then using endo steel all the time. And some Clan and IS mechs would really benefit from this.

Because it's based on the tabletop game, in a nutshell (I presume you meant, "why doesn't ferro-fibrous armor save more weight than Endo-steel.") The balance equation would be different in a campaign or resource-limited setting where the price of installing it mattered more (it's half the price to upgrade as opposed to endo-steel,) but in MWO it's just a lesser upgrade. If you're customizing a Battlemech, it's an extra bonus if you're able to fit it in - and for OmniMechs it's just a part of the overall package, something to be looked at when you think about purchasing that Omni.

Remember this if you see any of the salty people with bad ideas or silly limerick signatures about how all balance issues would go away if we only threw away years of balancing and aped the tabletop numbers.
