Is this still going to be Beta, or actual launched game?

Aug 7th is still CLOSED BETA

Open Beta will not be until later (no announced date yet) and official launch is a whole other step after that.

Well it's still closed, but I'm sure they will still be sending invites to to people! They've sent out tons in the past week or two and I bet once the Founders are all in they'll still be inviting lots

There is always a NDA in CLOSED beta. Not till Open is it typicaly allowed to take video and pics. But some Open betas have enforced a NDA.

That's not true.. Blizzard learned their lesson that they can't enforce a nda on closed beta with external invites and so they don't do it anymore. Everone was allowed to speak about d3 or the last wow addons while they were in beta.

I agree my statment was wrong. Not all closed betas have a NDA. But the ones that do do enforce them. I never had to agree to an NDA with D3 or Cat but i did have to in many other betas.
