Step 1) Get two people willing to play MWO - this is the hardest one!
Step 2) Have 1 of those people open a group and the other join it, then have both click the ready button.
Step 3) Launch search.
Ta-da!
Half an hour later, both players will be frustrated enough to cancel the search and go play a different game, even though they searched for a match during the North American prime time.
Another win for PGI!

Group Queue has been dead for as long as I can remember, you have to deliberately plan your day around playing at a specific time just to get a match. Between this and the numbers in Solaris, I'm surprised anyone even bothers to do anything that isn't Solo Queue -- which is effectively unranked as it is.

Even at its height cw had 30-40 min wait times.

Cw is instant drops. Just need to fill a group and then comes the RED side.

I drop in a group of two during NA primetime, longest wait is like 5 minutes.

Dude plays at off peak times and is surprised he can't find a game.
Dude also isn't welcome in most groups because of his toxic attitude.

lol. Who said this was a game with a healthy population?
This is like the 5th thread dude has made to ***** about it like it was going to magically resuscitate the player population.

And he’s not the only one. I have seen about a dozen of these sorts of threads in the last few months, wherein all essentially say the same thing: “me an my buds could get a match in MWO...” I try to be responsive and nontoxic, but its hard. So I’ll say it one last time.
-Ahem-
I play ~95% group queue and have for about 2 years now. So believe me when I tell you that group queue is mostly dead outside of NA Prime time, which is ~ 6:00PM Eastern US to about Midnight. During that time, as well as sometimes during the day (US EST) on the weekends, you can usually find a match within reasonable wait times (0-5MIN, 10 at the outside). A caveat: Since Russ’s EOL/maintenance mode announcement, wait times have been a little worse, especially if you are a smaller group or an odd numbered one; but that I think was just a depressive effect of Russ’s announcement and it seems to have already faded as wait times have started to get back to normal. Regardless, NA prime time continues to be the only time you can consistently get matches. That is the way it is and has been for some time.

F.W.I. prototesticle, read the bloody OP..
Was trying to find a match in group que during N.A. prime time, was not possible..
Just cose' you can't stop being a douche, doesn't mean we should forgive you being blind.
Normal games should not have that problem.. guess one can say - like players, like game.
