Epic launcher is crap!.... or so I hear. Evil evil chinese spyware! I will not install it on my pure and clean PC because it will conflict with my already installed Steam spyware... and... mad! Epic is bad! ... PGI betrayed their customers... I already had the best place on my hard drive allocated for MW5 Steam install, right next to the operating system files... but AHHGGRRR now it will be installed in the epic store at the back of the hard drive, right next to my Pr0n collection... BOOO! ... and chickens! chickens everywhere... more than that other guy... I am even more mad! The NASCAR and Piranah-OP-please-nerf threads have been pushed down to page 3... this is ANOTHER unacceptable betrayal by PGI... Russ promised me with a wink that a NASCAR thread will always be on page 1... screw you PGI, I refuse to scroll down 3! pages just to read the latest whine about how your customers play... AAAHHHAAAA!

Saying, and writing the word "hate" is a child's word. Saying "dislike", is more mature. Ever hear a child yell out "hate", compared to an adult. Their is a difference.
Furthermore, Russ did say, you can download MW5 from Epic, and then uninstall Epic. You do not need Epic store, to run MW5. Unless their is patches or updates then you will need to have Epic installed. Myself not going to download epic, and make an account just to get MW5. So, that means I will have to wait.

Well, OP, hm, i think it is a Quantitiy Thing.
If you measure how serious an occurence of distrust, anger and dislike is, you can do it by counting Posts, also by counting Threads, that is the most easy way - it can be automated as well.
If you try to qualify things you have ALSO to spend effort, manpower, money to read the content and set it into context.
That will not happen until the quantitiy of dislike reaches a Level that triggers such a reaction so it is never wrong to make as many posts and threads about something to get qualifed attention.
Now, i think we not really expect any backtracking of PGI - i do not - as they fully did know and where prepared for their players reaction.
I really think most folk here understands it is a Business decision, i really think most can tolerate that decision, they let PGI know in more or less eloquently how well they feel treated and what that will have for consequences in regard to past, imminent and future purchase decisions.
That PGIs customer still give them more or less eloquent Feedback on their Business decisions only means they have not given fully up yet but still care - PGI should be very thankful for that!

Russ also said, not long ago, that concerns that the game may be going epic exclusive are unfounded - when he knew he already signed with Epic.
If he's wrong - or outright lying - nobody will find out until it's too late to refund.
How much do we still trust him? I don't think we do at all.
