This is the magic thread that will solve all problems. The 40 threads before weren't quite right, but this is just what was needed.

Thanx 4 ur service.

I don't think OP wants to solve anything, just some more goodies.

Well. Stick your EGS MW5 copy up your butt traitor.

You're part of the problem, by allowing Epic's antics to have some modicum of result. It's like when you give the screaming kid the attention -- now the kid knows by screaming, it'll get your attention, and it will constantly do so to get your attention.

******* positive-reinforcement.

Ummm we literally paid for a bundle of MC at full price . Plus everything else , including a brand new game called mw5

Even if this had nothing to do with preordering MW5 this is still a very sweet if not the sweetest of bargains .

I am certainly not cancelling the least of the reasons why i pre ordered .

When it comes to the Epic store, there really is no benefit to the consumer, only the publisher.

I bet you can cash your game in and buy it again with new rewards when it hits epic. Sure you might be out the beta but who wants to play a buggy beta anyway.

im gonna get on this boat. more loot or i refund.

unfortunately the time to announce additional rewards for not canceling is kind of over. maybe they could have only lost 3% of preorders instead of 6%. its unlikely they are going to do anything. but im still gonna bug them. if only people with still active refunds would make some noise, and people who refunded would shut up.

ultimately i preordered mw5 because i want mw5. the download software is no concern of mine. but you diminished my exclusives by essentially giving them away for borrowing money from us (if this was a hawk shop we would be getting a hefty cut). pgi screwed us and needs to make us actual supporters of mw5 whole. not play the avoid a lawsuit card.

Simple question.

Access to the beta seems to be the only thing. I'd say you are better off refunding. Just remember to first redeem all the MWO bonuses if you haven't for some reason.

Traitor? WTF...

This community is no military or a similar organization where you have to pledge allegiance to.

The Epic deal is a complex topic where NO ONE of us has complete insight into. Thus the truth (Is PGI evil/lying/incompetent/whatever?) probably lies somewhere in the middle, so it's everyone's very own decision to refund or not based on the limited info we got and (very important!) how we interpret it.

When viewed from another perspective like "I want MW5 to be great and we should support it regardless of some controversial decisions by PGI" you could be blamed as 'Traitor' by not supporting MW5 anymore.

Personally i'm still on the fence, there are very valid arguments on both sides.
But regardless on how i will decide until the deadline, i would never call someone a traitor or part of the problem, and you shouldn't do either.

A sense of pride and accomplishment and keeping your preorder DLC?

That is, of course, as long as PGI doesn't alter the deal on you any further...

Most of you remind me my kids when they were six years old.
On the way to Six Flags we had a flat tire.
I remember them standing on the side of the road screaming I lied.
Because we were going to be a little late getting there.
While I change a tire in 90+ degree weather.
Does this absolve PGI - nope.
Do I like Epic - nope.
But some of you people are simply the worst.

I just hope PGI makes good use of the extra money and month they have for developing the game.

us normal people if we need money we usually have to borrow it at a premium interest rate. when a game dev needs money they dont pay any interest. just letting a company hold onto your money for 3 months means they can do whatever they want with it. fund the game, hire people, invest it, buy a massive pile of coke, etc. unless they went with the last option, they likely turned a profit with your money even if they refunded you.

I had to change a tire for the first time this summer next to a busy highway wearing a full suit. This is why I want to play games where the vehicles have legs.
