Wow it has been forever, and I know PGI likes dragging their feet on things they want done so to ask for something they don't I know I am asking a lot. But here it goes. Could we get the ECM bubble reversed back to 180 from the 90 meters that it is at now?

Opinions, and trolls welcome.

You're not up-to-date. The ECM bubble was recently extended to 120m.
I don't think it needs more than that. Especially in connection with stealth.

The range indicator on the HUD next to the ECM shows 120m. So, that's the effective range or the radius of the bubble.

180m is a considerable distance, considering that it's just a radius, not diameter. Even so, ECM is at 120m bubble now, far from 90m.

An ECM bubble's ability to disable IFF should be restored, along with the 180m range.

I run a few mechs with ECM a fair bit and don't find the current range bothersome.

That said I don't really think 180 was overpowered either. Just don't see why restoring it would be a priority or what it would add. If they did though I wouldn't care, however I would like to see more than PPC's and Tag disable/counter stealth. Don't see PGI bothering with any of this though.

Disabled IFF + 180m Range = Confusion + Mayhem

Hi!

No, we're not doing that. ECM works in Tandem with Stealth, and the "Low Signal" bubble is one of the few hard giveaways. I'd even prefer a mech that had a 30m radius ECM.

Thank you,
Please have a Wonderful Day,
The Magic Bug.
