Strategic Strikes!

Strategic Strikes, Air Strikes and Artillery Strikes may be a bit too powerful now. Just my observation.
Just in a match in a medium and saw a 20% reduction for a strike and a second one took me out a few minutes later.
It looks like Advanced Salvos are just too much.

Strikes by themselvse are fine. The fact that everyone can use two per game without investing any tonnage into it is not.

thats why I feel they should ditch the strikes or replace it with something else and bring in mech mortars as the tool to punish stationary teams

Id like to see anti-mech land mines take the consumable slot, that only triggers on enemies...fun little nascar and leg armor surprise

Usually they are less painful than getting shot at directly, and anyone can mount and upgrade them equally so it's a whatever from me. Just another random thing on the list for lights to be especially paranoid of.

Thank you for your answers. Still seems to me that the damage is much greater than by old BT/Mechwarrior rules.
In a 30 ton mech a ground zero strike reducing my total armor by 20% seems excessive. From Sarna, it looks like an arty should do 20 points total. If I am shot CT by an AC20 I think I see usually a 5% to 10% drop.

I would lower the damage but also decrease the global cooldown. Maybe drop the the beginning of match lockout or reduce it.
