I do know that PGI is currently silent after the Epic fiasco and not many people would actually be willing to buy their mechpacks anymore. If none of this actually happened, what mechs would be perfect for both MWO and MW5?
IMO these mechs would be perfect if implemented and designed correctly.
ThunderHawk - with +1 Gauss charge this mech will demolish Mad Cat IIs and other loved assaults, only downside is the fragility of the rifles, low slung arms and being thick.
Hermes - 177 constant KPH, Stealth Armor and 7 energy slots on a variant, this mech can replace the flea if the Hermes is in between the height of a Flea and Spider and designed more like this.

It would be the best light if it was also given the Spider's bonus of capturing objs.
Flashman - give it some - duration bonuses, +energy range, and very fast torso speed and you have a strong battlemech that can trade very well.

Mechs That Would Be Really Good For Mwo And Mw5

Depends how the MW5 is laid out.
I imagine it's a linear tonnage game, as that's the hook and anchour.
Start with a light you know from MWO and are comfortable with.
Post videos to youtube
Sit back and lol.

I would like to see a heavy mech with one less leg actuator and a movement debuff.
I could mount double heat sinks in each leg and get water benefits.
It is not a huge benefit for the mech but that is partly why i think it is perfect.
If it had energy weapon perks as well that would make a spectacular laser turret of a mech.
