There are dozens (maybe hundreds... I've not seen a list) of warhorn sounds out there... so, which one is your 'go to' warhorn, the one you are most likely to equip on your favorite mechs?

I haven't looked around, but are the sound files for most (or all) of these available anywhere out of the game?

That's the kind of link I was hoping for, Jedi Panther, thank you! My personal favorites are the Radial, Shield, and Dish warhorns, but I will look over and listen to some of the others. Who knows... I might find some new favorites!

All other (which i have) not so cool. And best mech deserve best warhorn.

Just FYI... the list on Soundcloud is missing some two years of mech releases (each of which came with its' own warhorn).

I appreciate the heads up... and, I did notice that there were several not there. However, I think finding the faction play map themes kind of makes up for it, as far as I am concerned.

Also, you can extract the warhorn sounds from the game's data - they're in the warhorns directory inside Sounds.pak .
Then you'll need something that can either play or convert FSB files, like FSB Extractor ( http://aezay.dk/aezay/fsbextractor/ ) or Music Player Ex ( http://jerome.jouvie...layer/index.php )

The greatest pleasure is to lurm your enemies and chase them before you with the most obnoxious sounds, to rob them of their Cbill gains and see those dear to them bathed in warhorn cacophony, to ride their mechs and clasp to your bosom their wives and... Ok maybe forget that last part.

So something classy like (alphabetical order) :
- Leprechaun! (dancing on dead mechs)
- Meep (surprise)
- Piranha Speakers (cute)
- Ram's Horn (in da face)
- Standard Bagpipe (only 500 MC, who could resist)

For something that sounds better then a bagpipe, looks less obnoxious then a dancing Leprechaun but still rubs it in, try : Cauldron (too classy for me)

There's only two warhorns appropriate for lurming. The evil laughing of the jack o lantern rubbing in killing with a no skill weapon, and the radio warhorn that says nice shot, for nice shot PGI thanks for aiming for me.

Cyclops. FRR is close, but Cyclops has that sheer "YOUR DEFEATED" that no other warhorn does.

Did you check the Cauldron warhorn ? It's like "YOU'RE INCINERATED !".

I like the Jack-O-Lantern, the Blackwell XIX, the Vapor Eagle warhorn, Yard Sale, Lunch Truck, Cockatoo, Diamond Shark, Urbanmech, and lately Dueling Pistols have been my favorite.

Nothing like ending a stream of UAC10 shells or a conclusive twin LB-10x blast with 'BLAOW CLICK CLICK CLICK'

Oh also the Kodiak and Cyclops horns.

honestly i just use what i have. though if i have a go to its the Laughing jack-o-lantern one though that is just for my LRM boats all of them use that warhorn. but yeah there are ones i don't like but i will use whatever feels right for the mehch or build.
