I found the pinned topic on my video card and the error. I will get some help and use that work around until I can get a new card. I'm trying to limit what I replace on the system to what is absolutely needed to make the game work and look "OK".
I'm not looking for a top of the line upgrade - just something that will work and not give me fatal errors, and will be fast enough that my video doesn't jump... I don't know what it is called exactly. An example is when I try to move fast or there are several mechs on-screen it seems to jump rather than move smoothly.
I'm not savy on computers, but here is what I know about my machine:
Intel® Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GM (7.89 GB usable)
System Type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Windows 10 Pro Version 1809
Monitor LC32F391FWNXZA 32" CF391 Curved LED Monitor by Samsung
Intel® HD Graphics 4000
System:
Dell Optiplex 9010 SFF Desktop PC (Refurbished);
Intel Core i7-3770 Processor 3.4GHz; Microsoft Windows 10 Pro;
8GB DDR3 RAM; 240GB Solid State Drive
Power: 240w Dell power supply
It is a very small case that the computer is in.
Open Slots on Motherboard: 2
Max size is 7 1/4" ish
I have run the update manager and I think I'm current on everything.
Would a used GeForce CTX 960 work with the system below?
If not, could you recommend something that would?
I picked the 960 because it appears to have a power consumption that my current supply can handle.
Any other relevant suggestions would be appreciated.

Just make sure to double and triple check the GPU, that they are SFF. Beware of word MINI and LOW PROFILE, and such. Some of the naming conventions are meant to show them as shorter or thinner cards but are not SFF (Small Form Factor).
Example
https://www.newegg.c...N82E16814125951
This one I got for a joke build (gave to my bro-in-law later) to see what could be done. Total cost $250 for SFF and GPU. Click on the last picture. By default it was equipped with a normal bracket but it also had a SFF bracket, which allowed it to fit .
Example below is another example. If it all DVI/HDMI then there can be a total of 3 small slots but no extra/opened spaces.

I'm going to close down this thread.
I had just bought that system and I still have the ability to return it. I am going to return it and look at some gaming computers on sale for Labor Day. I think that by the time I got the system to where I wanted it, I will spend more than one on a good sale.
Thank you guys very much for the help. I have a much better idea on what to look for.

- GTX 1050 Ti Should be also fine with and do job well. But really you better change power supply to better one and add some ram also. Or you find a lot of power and ram bottleneck soon or use CPU not at full capacity.
