So, i havent played in a long time but this Solaris 7 thing is in place of my older game.

I understand what Solaris 7 is, but can you play regular games as well using the same client or is there a different client needed?

Solaris 7 is just an expansion name attached to the base MWO game. Once you're inside the game, look to the top of the screen. You can see the different modes that you can play, like Quick Play, Faction War, Comp, Solaris 7, etc.,
