So, I heard a Discord exists for MechWarrior 5 (and possibly Online). I was wondering, how would one join? I'm not too bright when it comes to computers, so I'd imagine someone a bit more savvy with them could help me out.

You need to have pre-ordered the game to get into the MW5 discord.

It's grossly over-moderated, much more so than the forums.
The only benefit is the ability to ask a question for a AMA (with no gaurantee of an answer)... You're not missing out on anything by not being on it IMO.
