Every so often, nature has to show off. This morning on my way to a larger town - where they have internet that works, I had a Blue Heron fly right over the road infront of my car. It was neat. Sometimes all I have to say is, thanks Mother Nature.

reminds me of the time i looked out my bedroom window and saw no fewer than 50 bald eagles in the trees (which is where i lost count). that was of course before everyone had a camera on their person at all times.

i was living next to a creek at the time and this was during salmon spawning season. the smell is hideous but at least it brings out the eagles. these birds are not small and my cats were scared to go outside.
