So like the title says anyone getting a dervish? Any recommended builds, skills, or variants?

The missile spread quirked one. Great with MRMs on it. I think I have MRM40/10. They are quite XL safe too.

The hero is good for SRM Boating. 4 x SRM4 and 2-4 SRM2.

I play both of those a bit and are good fun.

The others are basically rubbish. Bad hardpoints, no quirks to make them useful etc

I bought a Dervish Frenzy. As you can see, it's AWESOME!

I have returned with gifts - They are as non-pro friendly as possible. The Frenzy for instance I run hotter/slower but I would not reccommend for most user.

FRENZY

DV-6M - XL Build MRM40/20 - IMO is better than two MRM30, despite ghost heat which is minimal you get extra DHS to offset it.

DV-6M - LFE MRM30/20 - IMO it's anemic on cooling and outright dmg for 55T. MRMs in Meds need to be XL. Dervish spreads dmg well, so go XL.

So yeah, both those variants are boss.


Other chassis as i said, rubbish. I tried all sorts of builds to make them good and it was just a waste of time so I sold them I think because MWO Maintenance mode, they won't get good quirks ever so no point having them.

That's just a import build code error. Usually formatting.

Copy/Paste into notepad first, remove formatting, code then works.

I think you can optimize this a little more, gaining another full ton of ammo and another 4.4 kph. Uses a somewhat more common engine, too.

Probably. I just chucked it together in a rush TBH. I have no idea what I'm running on it currently.
