I have the Nightstar 9S loaded with 2x UAC20 + some MLs. I absolutely love wrecking potential of this thing but often, when peeking around corners, getting even the exposed weapon on point was a bit of an issue. Last night, I took it out for a spin and noticed that something was off and the convergence was pretty bad. I thought at first that it's just me 'cause I've gotten used to the dakka from other mechs like the Mad Cat, Blood Asp, Sleipnir, Warhammer, etc.,
The 9S's ballistic fire was coming from a weird angle. It's as if someone loosened the arms too much and it neither stays at cockpit level nor slightly below it. Anyone who's tried the Nightstar recently have any similar issues?
Did Pgi Change The Nightstar's Arm Angle Or Something?

It was changed before release AFAIR.
Because many users on this here forum jumped up and down about it.
So what we were left with was a mech that had absolute garbage convergence. The ballistic mounts are also high in one arm and low in the other, further adding to the football field of distance between the two of them.

Ok, then it is partly me and also the up-and-down placement. My issue with the 9S back when I was leveling it was being almost cored in the CT upon entry or grazing the structures with the UAC20s even when I thought I had clear LoS. It's a pity but maybe the 9P is the best variant to boat some serious hurt. I'll check that out.
