But MWO groups will farm most of them out of MWO in less then a month.
So this is the last chance, for PGI to fix the broken Faction Play matchmaking mechanics before they come over and quickly leave.
Some suggestions :
1) Delay group launches until a second group show up, specially if a 2nd group is about to end it's match in a few minutes. Because right now the full group priority means that groups spend so little time queuing that they're unlikely to meet each other because they just launch right away against solo players before another group has a chance to queue up.
2) Reduce base FP rewards by ~50%, and add a "+5% bonus multiplier per grouped player on both sides", for a maximum bonus of 24x5%=120% bonus. This would encourage more solo players to group up, and encourage grouped players to maximize their gains by hunting down the biggest enemy group they can find, instead of currently being encouraged to maximize their gains by farming the weakest group of random solo they can find.
3) Maybe restrict new players to 4vs4 scouting (for Faction Play events and unlocking their first Loyalty based Mechbays), so they can gain some proper experience (and fun) before being excluded from 4vs4 scouting and mercilessly thrown into the Faction Play pit : Less early harm done to them, less permanent harm they do to advanced Faction Play balance, and win-win for everyone.
Again, if PGI doesn't do something about the extensive Faction Play farming of new players (trying to unlock their first Mechbays with their trial mechs), those new players MW5 will bring to MWO will be farmed to extinction in a matter of weeks.
