They stopped reading a long time ago.

A few people actually left for LL servers.

MW5, people will play the campaign then 2 things will happen.

Some will tire of the campaign and either come back or move on to whatever.

If it has multiplayer, some will try playing that. That will last a bit then the hackers get in and ruin everything. Epic will do little about it, maybe some in the beginning but eventually nothing. I know this from Titanfall 2 and BF1, did both campaigns then looked into doing multiplayer.

BF1 forums were filled with complaints of hackers so I never tried.

Titanfall 2 has some hackers plus quickscopers, after dealing with that in War for Cybertron never again. Now I only do TF2 Frontier Defense and that has some suiciders that ruin it.

I expect hackers and possibly quickscoping to shrink any multiplayer in MW5 after a period of say a year.
