The Howling (1981)

Rated R

Produced back in the days with real fake blood and not digital splatter. Perhaps one of the best werewolf movies made (to date).

When a newcaster witnesses a man shot to death by police who had been suspected in several brutal attacks, she develops amnesia and is sent to a group resort to get well. Unknown to her, and her husband, the resort is a community of werewolves.

This is a good one for an old fright fest, yet not made for kids. Foul language, plenty of violence, and nudity. Even an arm that gets chopped off. While I will admit to seeing this movie as a teen, I would not recommend it to the wishy washy kids of today who are accustomed to digital blood and think that is gross. They might not sleep again...ever.
