I just started the Beta and want to stream on Discord to my friends who don't have it, but when I launch the game it opens Steam VR so that they can only see that Steam VR is standing by, not my game. When I close Steam VR it also closes MW5, any ideas on how to fix this?

Not sure if this is the best solution, but uninstalling SteamVR worked for me.

I guess PGI never tried launching this with a VR system attached.

That seems to fix it, kind of a stupid work around but at least I can play.

Well one way to do it would be to attach a VR tracker to your keyboard, so you can bring a virtual copy of your keyboard into VR...

But a better idea would be to put virtual interactive buttons all over your virtual cockpit, like the home version of an arcade mech cockpit. Not as efficient as stuffing everything next to each other on a small keyboard, but ten times more immersive for sure.

Also things like the eject button would be that great big red button you can't possibly press by mistake, so you wouldn't need to put a 3s timer on it : Just punch it to eject straight out.

Field of view would only be around 90-130°... still better then watching a monitor in front of you. But once VR headsets reach 180°+ field of view you'll never want to go back to a snorkel monitor based field of view.
