For anyone wondering: Other mechs here are nice but nothing special, but CPLT-C2 is powerful as hell. Get one!

and were you kidding about the Catapult? as a lurmer the damn thing cant even bring a tag to spot for itself,

An srm/lbx combo with it is ok? but other mechs can already do that better.....

I have had great results with dual LBX20. I think the K2 can also do it, but I don't have one.

Frankly, out the box it's fun to use: fast firing LB2s almost forces aggressive lurming

The Marauder-9M is a good mech imo.

4ERLL + ERML on the Marauder is nice, but the hardpoints are so low it's a bit clumsy as a sniper and undergunned as a mid-range laser vomit. Good enough to be viable, but does not stand out among other long range mechs.

2LB10 + 4SRM2 on a chassis with good hitboxes though... That thing is a brawling dps-monster. All comparable mechs with ballistics for the role are lacking in missile hardpoints.

Oh, if only you where here when the Boomapult and Gaussapult was the meta. I was quite surprise the last time someone snuck up on me in a K2 will duel AC/20 but that was some time ago. I have heard the C2 brought it back but I haven't seen it in the Nascar rally. Shame, I love seeing good brawlers in game.

best we can hope for is a pvp dlc for mw5 or an mwo2. without new content mwo is doomed to a slow (or significantly less slow) death.

MAD-9M IMO is the best IS ECM heavy. 2xMRM30 and your choice of lasers (I use 2xMPL+2xERSML). Thanatos and Archer Tempest can do it too but the Marauder does it the best.
