I suspect its quite possible that even come January, either we'll still not be able to use it, or at least not be able to publish mods considering that Epic Launcher doesn't have mod support yet so there's no tick the box to activate/deactivate mods and thus, no good way to put them to use...

to clarify, i make this mod just for me personal and now thinking of uploading to the community wen it is done.
but...i used mainly images from "deviant art" and repait, mix, cut or do anything with them to fit the style i want. like new loading screen, recolored the two gray mechs and ad the Gray Death Logo.
Also i used some pilots from battletech game, ad logo, sometimes new faces and recolor + style effects to have a unique look.
Joel DuQue (Concept Artist at Harebrained Schemes) made so wonderfull Images, i hope he do not search me

Actual i spend more time on the coding side, find out how to extract all Gamedata, mess up with the uasset files to extract/inject Images and how to edit the Language Files.
PGI made a big chaos with the files, sometimes typo in there settings leading to double images and/or videos. so much stuff inside gamefiles that is not used or are just sample files from unreal 4 engine.
No german translation for the Pilot/Playernames, need to edit the Names in the English Language too...a lot typo or missleading Names in the German Story Translation.
If im not a huge Battletech Fan, im unsure if i not refund my Money Back...but MWO was same, first a bad start and over the Years it became better. Im in hope MW5 get the same over the Years...

Mechsorting...by what are they sorted? Dosn't seam to be by weight or name.
New Ryana have you drawn it yourself or is that another image from the game?
Captain Carnes looks very familiar
Nexus mods here I come. Keep it up and I hope the editor, when its released, will help you makeing it easier for you.

He said he sorted them so that they all face to our left (the images).
Some of the images in MW5 face right and clash with the look.
As for the "medical dropship", they appear to be shrunken union-class dropships, which is in the game files.
A union class dropship is actually massive compared to a Leopard dropship, almost twice the Leopard's size and weight, capable of carrying 12 mechs with their own bays and two aerospace fighters.

Still finding so much unused files and stuff is strange for a final release version.
The model dosn't quite look like a Union to me. For me they are like Spaceballs
The one you fund in the files has this strange extra ring that it makes look a bit odd to me.
I still think a Union would have been the much better choice, given the number of mechs we can have active, for the story but I guess that the Union would have been to big to land in everywhere on the maps.

I hope when the Editor comes that it won't be too coder-heavy, so that a layman like myself will be able to make some nice things..
At least my own pre-made levels or campaigns ans such..
I can't wait for all the great things that I hope for this game to become reality!
I hope PGI takes the right cues from the community this time around, they might have a real gem on their hands..

I did not look actual how to swap/insert new models.
To the Dropship, the Ingame Model has 4 Doors. Even with Cinematics Doors.
Textures from the Model leading to the Leopard Folder, so i think PGI maybe wanted to use this as Main Dropship.
Or it is just there for testing, like so much unused files...i mean why is there a "saurons eye" or a "Mannequin" as Models.

I know that in the Canon some Stuff like this was used...but i prefer more actual Mechwarrior Style, were Pilots went in underwear inside...Reactors can became hot ;-)

For all People who do not like the Game Menu and HUD.
The Images from Testing are Way look much worse then now.
Must be early Game Design...but why inside the Game Files like Ton's other Stuff...not every User has Fast Internet to Download...maybe because "Hey we can't deliver 500mb Game on a branded CD this days"...excuse my Humor

100% Mechwarrior Style, some looking Cartoon, other just lame Copy/Paste a Face and some just scary me.
I see clear it is the Year 3.000+ if i watch this Characters...or maybe not
i try to make them all new, give a similar look/filter and i am not a designer:
spend money for a game to not only playing it, glad i love Battletech and are willed to do this!

Just better at 3D than 2D, and machines than people.
Something tells me we'll someday see furries, ponies, and anime characters done similar ways.
Probably why my mod's gonna stick to weapons and other game improvements rather than the cosmetics of the UI and stuff; people might like the guns but not like any UI stuff I do, and I want my mod to be compatible with a number of other mods.
