The first. Effing. Mission. What the hell? I Can't salvage the crates and when I can the waypoints don't update.

It works fine actually... if you know where to find the crates. Phil walked right past them on his stream yesterday and would have been circling over and over had he not had a stream going and viewers telling him where to look again.

They arent the crates in the open they are the ones in the buildings you crush.. Then you need to get close enough for the command prompt o come up

if you remapped your interact key, you won't be able to grab the crates.
I choose to switch to default, just to complete that mission

Replayed the first mission last night:

you might expect to get 3 waypoints for 3 crates. There are only 2 waypoints; the 3rd crate is not in the same "room" as the 2nd crate; stand with your mech facing outside the 'door' of that 'room' and look to your 10 o'clock, you should see another container, just kinda out in the open.

It's kinda dumb that they put the "crates" inside what looks like giant crates. So you think the big boxes are the crates when in reality it's something a lot smaller. =/

Agreed.

But on the bright side the crates don't seem to take damage themselves, so nuke the place

They put the crates in what looks like giant garages.

What's weird... is why individual garages and not just a warehouse?
