I disabled it and it still runs slow.

This is more of a tech support issue? And probably for the Epic/MW5 forums, but I'd try running a full scan with something like Norton, or reverting to a pre-install state of Windows. It sounds like the storefront made a change that's screwing with your system performance, if the only thing you did was install the launcher. It might even be a corrupted file, so you could try uninstalling Epic Games, and then installing it again.
