1 time. In 70 hours of play and even then I think it was self Inflicted bc I left the game running while alt tabbing several times.

this.
Ya know what? I wouldn't be surprised if that windowed mode vs fullscreen MWO incompatibility latched itself on to MW5 lol.

If I play for more than 3 hours or so it causes a memory crash with my invidea video card. Often it notes that the Epic Game Store program is at fault, even though it isn't open.

Well how about that, after the first patch, i just got a random fatal error, while i was browsing the market, not even doing intensive work that would stress my presumably broken hand picked, stress tested hardware...
No other crashes since that one, after about 12 cumulative hours. Guess it is a unreal engine related thing and not a hardware thing.

I think there was one crash in Co-op, and not during a mission. Nothing else in single player. It’s been pretty damn solid, especially compared to some of the other games I’ve been playing recently.

Full crashes ? twice in over a hundred hours of play. A few more times it seemed to freeze up but then sorted itself out. Honestly its trivial compared to the number of times you'd get a 0 ping player on a MWO match.

I've got about 15 or so hours playing the single player with no crashes or hiccoughs.

Both Win.10 & MW5 are running off of a 500 gig SSD,
AMD FX 3600 BIOS clocked at 4.2 Ghz w/ 16 gig system RAM
XFX Rx 570 w 8 gig - mild overclock w/ AMD Wattman

I am one of the ones with frequent crashes for “hung” GPU. Tried all the fixes people have suggested on MW5 discord to no avail. It’s incredibly frustrating. It does however seem somewhat “mission” related for me. Optional missions that continue to crash I can just fly away from, many missions are just fine. Crashing campaign missions I have to play on my old rig (which has a video card below recommended min performance and play on low graphics....as that’s all that card can handle....but it doesn’t ever crash). In total I crash maybe 1/3 of the time, which is an insanely high %.

I'm at Rep level 8, have had six crashes so far. Four of them a "Unity fatal error", and two "out of video memory".

My rig: i7 9700K over clocked, MSI MPG Z390 Mobo, 16 GB DDR4 3200 RAM over clocked, MSI 2080 RTX, running on an ASUS panel 260 x 1440 G-synch, with driver 441.66, and a Samsung 970 EVO.

I have no other crashes in any other games I play (MW5M, Fortnite, Destiny 2, and WoW are my current games). I use light to moderate overclocking, and I refuse to go to stock settings to play one game. That's BS and bad coding.

Have had no crashes in the last four game hours since last patch.

That might be it TBH, the underlying engine, UE4, is known to have issues with OCing.

Not once...

That said, I've been PC gaming for over 30+ years and I've learned a thing or two about building a rock-solid PC setup that has a high tolerance to persnickety code. Posted Image

No crashes here either, screen lagged once or twice during missions, but cleared up instantly. Level 6 almost 7 Currently, MW5 is a nice break from FFXIV as sometimes I just want to blow stuff up in big stompy robots, but don't wan to deal with pugs in MWO as its more like a game of Lemmings, I'd hate to say it, but MW5's AI is smarter than a good number of players in MWO.
