So I’m in the FedSuns at rep level 7. Why in the world can’t I find an Enforcer for sale?

Are they available only on certain planets? Only at a certain rep level? Anyone know how it works?

but I see them all the time in the store, well most times, I'll try and keep track where
like earlier I saw the Nightstar always available, but now, never see it, specially now that I can afford one

where mechs are available changes as the game timeline advances, same with equipment.

I saw my first Enforcer in Steiner/Marik space on Rep 9, shot it's legs out, but it did not appear in salvage. I have assault mechs by this point, but would still love some enforcers for when I go on funds gathering missions back in Davion space..

I recently saw several Enforcer variants in store, in the industrial hub on the Liao / Davion frontier (can't remember the name).
I'm in 3030 in my timeline.

I think it's mostly a matter of luck to find certains mechs in store.
I have never seen a Commando in store for example.
I would have loved to buy a few of them to keep in cold storage for later, they're my favorite light chassis

According to Sarna, the Enforcer has been in production since 2777, so it shouldn't be restricted because of timeframe.

I just found an 4R for sale in Steiner space 3028 with Rank 12.
But at this point you don't need mediums with main weapons in their vulnerable arms anymore.

I finally got awarded one as a reward for a 3-mission quest. I was rank 11 at the time, and dropped it only once. It got blown to shreds, so I fixed it, and then put it in cold storage to await my return into low-rank Davion space for some tank stomping missions..

around lv 8, if you side Liao in the conflict vs Davion there's a quest reward that includes an Enforcer.

Found one in the market
I suggest every time you get to a planet check the market, even in combat zones.
Its where I got my enforcer (Then discovered cold storage isn't infinite...DOH)

(Some variants would be, namely 5D which technically doesn't exist until 3050, as well as Piranha's made up 4P and 5P). So there'd only be the 4R (as 4P/5P both use a lot of lost tech and would be super rare if found at all before 3040).

Liao-Davion borders are the best place to find them. (I've found 3 here in the span of 2 years).

Found one, Davion-Liao border, in 3019.

However, the sized hardpoints really make this make less appealing.

My MWO brain was thinking 4 ML's and an autocannon. The build system in MW5 won't let you do that. Really makes this make way less useful than it was in MWO.
