Chloe's Cavaliers It’s called.

I played throug the main game 2 times and have yet to see Chloe? I though the story is about me as Chloe hunting a lostech Corsair like chasing unicorn? Why am I a generic white dude with grunt marine voice? I though it would be a different experience if I played as Chloe and have to endure fahad’s tease(harassment) for a change of the backstory. Female protagonist is actually so much more distinctive in a culture where all generic hero are men.

TLDR: where is Chloe and why NIC jacked her cavalier? And where is the lostech Corsair I was promised for? What about roughneck?

The short stories they made before release gave us the back story for the game. Chloe died in the last one and her husband Nic took over but didn't change the name of the unit. In the intro to the game Nic gets killed and their son takes over the unit. You are playing that son.
