So I sign in this evening, launch a mission, and my mech won't turn. Forward and Backward are fine, can turn if I twist with the mouse and recenter over the legs. Press A or D... nothing. I rebind the keys to Q and E just to see if that fixes it. No.
I stumble through a defense mission and wonder if my co-op session last night might have screwed something up. IO change mechs and try again. Nothing.
I can't turn my mechs. This is terrible.
And yes, my keyboard works.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Sounds like Fahad hasn't been doing his job
I had problems like this in MWO, and to fix it, I had to run the repair tool . . now I don't know if MW5 has a repair tool, haven't looked, but you might check if it does

Any chance of an update for this problem, or if it has been acknowledged?

Try deleting the keyboard settings file, maybe? Sometimes helps with UE4.
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\MW5Mercs\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

Got a response from PGI CS Zen - unplugged my joystick that has been plugged in for months and I'm back.
Strange that the joystick suddenly became an issue after 20 hours of gameplay and I didn't notice a patch hit between it working and not working. Anyway, the answer is unplug your joystick if you're not using it.
