Let me set the scene, the game is domination, canyon network, I am in my trusty black knight, i just get around the right side of the map, looking for a flank, in the very least to from some crafty, fully enhanced arty strikes, I take about 1 1/2 - 2 minutes to get into position and when i do i lob hppc's at the wayward souls with wanton abandon, looking for an opportunity to drop an arty on the bunched up enemy when all the sudden it happens (or so I thought) the nascar pauses and the enemy is up each others kiesters in the most beautiful way, like a total bad *** i drop my arty right behind them so they can't see it, then like magic, the very instant i hit the arty the nascar starts up again and triggers a chain of events that will go down in my memory for a long time to come, the enemy craftily evades the arty and my teammates start moving at the EXACT same time...now I am cringing it utter dismay at what is about to happen, I watch helplessly, cringing cry NO, NO, NO, NO as my time wanders through the smoke and starts to get hammered by my arty of doom, never in my life had i experience so much potato and bad luck in 1 match ever, killed 1 teammate and did 338 team damage in 1 go....this wasn't the first time it happened tonight but it was by far the most absurd example, needless to say we lose and I face what can be compared to those horrid prison **** scenes at the end you hear horror stories about, only to find out just how bad the damage was, turns out I had previous arty team kills in earlier games and I now have 20 minutes to think about what just happened....oh well, the timeout sucks but I have to admit, the sheer memory of such buffoonery will not easily be forgotten. That story being told I would advise new players...PLEASE...for the love of anything and everything...PLEASE do not run into the red smoke, it is not your friend. Have a great night all

Why would you drop an arty behind the enemy team on a nascar map?

Got what you deserved.

Admits to team killing multiple times in the same night.
Blames anyone but themselves.
I’m guessing that when you play assault you spend the first couple minutes of the match hiding in the drop zone too.

338? I think I got somewhere around that too a few times. People don't connect smoke with arty and don't listen to comms. Although a few times I'd swear they purposefully charged into the smoke just to spite me. :P

If you drop smoke close enough that a teammate can run into it, it is 100% your fault when they do and take damage.

That's greedy smoke.

Well when your own poor play results in you thinking you've found a BUG in a game...

This comes as no surprise.

its ok to use any mech to unload your strike if they are going in the wrong direction (backwards).

I once popped a friendly Locust with an Arty on Viridian, he ran up onto the bluff and didn't see it and the 'Mech was already damaged. I apologised profusely for not better warning him. I hope you also apologised OP, when you drop an Arty you really need to let your team mates know about it :(

Let's be fair... as long as it did more damage to the enemy than to your team, it was probably a good trade.

Whenever I get a kill that way, I comment with:
From hell's heart, I strike at thee!
