It's active premium time. PGI has done away with banked premium time. You can find it only on a few mech packs still though.

I will be honest. A returning Veteran player here. Felt a bit overwhelmed and lacking mech's I actually wanted to play. After a couple hours of grinding and getting down with a bit of premium time. I am back at it again. So I think the sale is working as intended. For those of you freaking out about " Games dead". Consider me a either new or returning player from beta days. You got yourself +1 player here on the servers. Plus I play during ghost time zones. Which means I play across primarily EU and US servers back and forth..... Seems like servers are alive and well to me. Plus i've been finding new players left and right like myself for the last several weeks. =) It's good to be back baby! Happy hunting.

INORITE?! I have not had issues finding a QP company. FP does take a little longer, but nothing outrageous.

Sorry, but the original MAD-9M2 Marauder lacks those medium lasers. However, it has TAG so it can spot for friendly artillery.

As much as I'd like to believe this, there will never be an MWO2. You can't make a sequel to this game like you would a single player game, that's just not how MMOs work in the grand scheme. The only way you'll see anything close to that would be 1. a total revamp of MWO from the code up into what is essentially a new game with a new engine (something people have been asking to get for a few years now) or 2. another company gets license to make another Mechwarrior MMOFPS.

On top of all that, while I respect the majority of the PGI team, especially Tina and Matt, I honestly doubt Russ has considered revamping this game in any way up till maybe now, and I don't think Microsoft has any interest in handing out another license to another company after the admittedly lackluster performance of PGI in making MWO. As someone who's played this game off and on since 2013 I can say all of that with confidence. The game has come a long way from what it was yes, but in many ways its also regressed to worse then it was.
