Stuck at level 5 because I cannot interact with the ship commander. I don't know how to appropriately post a video so here is the link.

Is there a workaround for this? I cannot progress any further in the game. Getting really frustrated with this game. Is it too late to ask for a refund?

Also, is this even the right place to post MW5 problems so that PGI can address them?

Wrong section of the forum, and no, if u post into the right one PGI wont address them. Historically they dont use these forums for anything other than announcing something.

I think they have some sort of a discord channel where u can go cry into the wind and they are supposed to hear that. I have my doubts though.

that's what I am seeing, no Interact key assign

default is 'E', if you have changed it {reassign E to something else), and not applied a new key for interact, then, yeah guess what

edit: had the wrong letter for interact key default, correct one added
