Hi,
Just want to ask how is it with MWO activity in EU TZ? As I read some threads its said most ppl left this game and kids took it over? Is it worth playing? Or where MechWarrior fans left to? Thanks :-P

There is still activity on European servers. Currently I am getting matches almost instanteously.
It helps if you have more 'Mechs and if you can switch between weight classes to get even faster matches.

The average player's age remains 30+. I've only heard 1 or 2 players sound like a kid on voip. Whoever said kids took over is exceptionally mistaken.
Sometimes activity may drop for an hour around 10AM-1PM GMT and it could take upwards of 5 minutes to find a match. But once you get a match, you're synced with the queue, as long as you keep searching soon after your match ends.
Whether or not this game is worth playing depends on you. For a new player, I recommend trying it out. For old players, if you keep wanting to play this game, but you're usually disappointed when you return, I recommend you find something new and different to do. Playing only one, or perhaps two matches never hurts, though.

I just came back to mwo after getting bored of lame mw5. I stopped after bloodasp was released. game is still in the same place as before but fun none the less. would be even more fun if you could play with mates. no one new is gonna come to play this game if you cannot group together so you can ease it in for the new ones and show them the ropes. mwo creates a "community" of singled out players. Truly unimaginable in the world of social media.
ps. the difference between a good and a bad mwo QP match is a leader. if someone orders the group or at least calls out targets - we're gucci and a win is around the corner. we all know that you can be the best mwo warrior in the galaxy untill you get focus fired.

Well, leader ...
I have seen my share of horrible would-be leaders.

What causes the bottleneck of new blood? Why do games see a big population explosion on release and then a slow die-off? Is it gamer culture that you don't play anything which came out last year?
How can we change the entire culture so that games maintain consistent activity levels?

9-12pm in EU time should be pretty good in terms of drops and low wait times, of course it gets better if you can stay up later

Yearly releases of games are the elephant in your question
How can we change the entire culture so that games maintain consistent activity levels?
Hmmm, change basically anything that made the past 15 years be as fast moving as they were
Interesting questions, thanks !
