Good to hear the liquid cooling instead of the OEM heatsink/fan!!

Before reinstalling the game, is the system overclocked at all?

i think water cooling is overrated. heat pipes are a lot better at removing waste heat, so an after market cooler with a large number of pipes and a lot of fin area can really dump waste heat. i got the copper version of the cryorig c7 and my cpu doesn't throttle at all. pretty good for a low profile cooler. the big tower style coolers can handle overclocking as well as a cooling loop cant if not better. i also converted my case to a negative pressure config which just makes everything better.

though i agree about stock coolers, especially the crappy intel coolers. the amd coolers are a lot more robust and they dont lie about their tdp numbers as much.

crash happens after about two or three games played then will happen pretty much every game though sometimes it happens first game out and sometimes after it starts it will give me a game or two without crashing

If you are running mid/high/ultra video settings, try setting everything to low and see if it changes anything in terms of crashes. If it does, start switching settings back to what you used before one by one to identify the cultprit.

What kind of crashing do you have? Is it game itself just crashing or screen just goes black before crash? Do you have "Driver crashed and has been recovered" message? Have you checked system log? As for me, simple game crash usually happens due to shader cache. Clearing it solves the problem.

thank you to all who have taken the time to read my OP if you come up with anything new I'd love to see it, thank you

After you find out what caused those crashes, do not forget to post the info here, please. It could be useful information for other MWO players.

going from fullscreen to "fullscr windowed mode" solves many problems you even didn't know you had with this game ;)
