Does Tag stack with Artemis?

If there's a slot, is it worth bringing a NARC instead?

Does NARC and Tag stack?

Edit: Does 2 Tags stack?

TAG does nothing else than the TAGged unit being considered in LOS of the locking missile carrier for lock-on time and spread purposes. NARCed targets only count as in LOS for the spread value.
Artemis otoh reduces missile spread while in LOS and only when in LOS.
So no, these systems do not stack. I think NARC is only useful in a coordinated drop where more mechs can profit from the beacon signal.

As a Lurmer, I ALWAYS thank people who bring NARC, as it has mechanical and practical purposes..

1) As already stated, it makes enemies easier to lock

2) It acts as a "focus this target" beacon if you don't NARC more than 1-2 targets at the same time.

3) It provides a psychological detriment to the NARCed target who will usually seek cover rather than push, especially if missiles are sent it's way.

4) As soon as a NARC-er is detected, it will become a primary target and draw fire, allowing the rest of it's team to push with less of the enemy focused on them.

So yes. Thank you for bringing and using NARC.

As far as TAG goes, it's just something used for the individual bringing it to lock faster.. I only use it in conjunction with ATM..

Well, but you don't get faster locks with TAG on your own mech. The only benefit would be TAG cutting through ECM and Stealth to get locks in the first place.

Self narcing is great on some of the mobile lurm mechs. Clan Hunchback with narc, jj and lrm is what I define as an active lurmer.

Ah, that Hunchie is a ATM 30 mech for me Posted Image

Anyway, I was thinking of buying the Cobra Cat and wondering if I should keep the stock omnipods and go 4x LRM20+A with Tag or change the arm omnipods for more missiles + NARC + Tag. It seems like my assumption of Tag reducing the missile spread is more to do with LOS and not stack-able with Artemis. So, yeah, I think I need something else to do.
