Yesterday I set a new all time record in the annals of unfortunate strikes:
Beat it if you can!! (No team kills though, so you can do better )

Hmmm...
Does team damage contribute to damage done?
I'm not gonna intentionally shoot people I just want to know.

I think the worst strike I've ever seen was during an SA comp practice years back, we were stacked on crimson saddle for the push, and someone (it may or may not have been wingbreaker) managed to drop a strike right as DC called the push, all 8 mechs moved forward in a perfect deathball so tight I think everyone ate it, I've never seen a 550dmg friendly strike since, lol

It subtracts from match score. Actually I scored an amazing 0 MS points in that match, despite the otherwise decent statistics and my team winning. So technically it DOES contribute to match score

At least you got KMDD, solo kill and 551 damage. I once did around 180 team damage and zero damage to the enemy when piloting a Piranha.

On a slightly different subject ... Guy goes out, does 350 friggin team damage, and what do we see? ... PSR doesn't even change. Just LOL.
Just for perspective ... 350 damage is enough to take two 100 ton mechs out of commission.
Strikes don't have max range ya know.

Does 2 teamkills with one 20 point artyhit count as well?

Maxim 4: Close air support covereth a multitude of sins.
Maxim 5: Close air support and friendly fire should be easier to tell apart
Maxim 20: If you're not willing to shell your own position, you're not willing to win.

Wow that's savage, and I dare say an unbeatable number without blatantly attacking your team with no regard for human life.

I once had a friend that during a match scored 414 team damage in a rifleman without a air strike on forest colony. He just fired into the brawl aiming at anything red without a care who got hit.

Sure they do. I don't blindly follow into smoke and take free damage, enemy or friendly. If you drop it during a team push though well...Different story.
I've had my fair share of potatos that blindy charge into red smoke as if it's a rave party. I'm just saying, I don't want to be near a guy that has over 300 team damage, even a bad arty wouldn't give you that kind of damage.
