Reading a news of MWO on Steam. Checking patchnotes and forum about changes (groups in soloQ). Thinking "Maybe install it once more....." finding out what the fuss is all about.

Coming along the "Free Mech"-News while booting up Steam, trying code, get rejected for being 3 days late.

Laugh hard, stick longest finger in front of screen, boot up Doom Eternal.

Just got back into MWO, missed it by a few days too.
Was looking forward to a new merc to stomp around in while i'm off rota.
I'll have to pay more attention next time !

Don't worry much. There are several freebie mechs - either from codes like this or as event rewards - each year. Quarantine is hardly a good one.
