It's the opposite side of the heatbug.

I've got a theory: When someone gets the heatbug and loses dissipation it's because the servers "accidentally" reassigning your heat sinks to another player.

Looks like the cool shots got stuck on repeat at a certain heat threshold somehow.

I've had that just once. It was when I was piloting the Top Dog. Even barely skilled, I could alpha strike that laser vomit and crack close to 1.2k.

i think this mech has an hsl quirk allowing it to fire four erlls without ghost heat. its a mean beast.

Had this happen once in my 9 MPL Ebon Jag in a QP match on HPG. The damage I was dishing out was unreal, actually felt bad about it when I realized what was happening about half way through the match. Of course that doesn't make up for the dozens of times I have seen the regular version of the heat bug where your dissipation is almost 0. My guess is these bugs are not related other than they both effect heat.
