I see it as some sort of easter-egg.

Also the game logs you out and you get a message like:
Title - Fatal error on the application
Message - Success

I really see those things as a show of sense of humor on PGI's part.

I know, I know... it's probably something else that's behind it, but to be honest, that doesn't bother one bit. I actually grin when I see one of those

Rather than a new thread I just figured I'd bump the old one... I got this one today instead of the 'disconnected from game server' at the start of a match I'm kinda used to seeing lately. Go to join quickgame and "your mech is locked".. think for a moment... AHA... Log Off..Log In...there's the rejoin... and just as I thought... out of 24 mechs, 20 had a ping of zero. Three of my side had thought to log off / log in and one on the other side, who almost immediately disconnected (I guess he figured whats the point, 3 to 1). And the 3 on my side who woke up with clan heavies/assaults, including my hellbringer...so we hauled arse to their deployment zones (crimson tide...we dropped on the land spit in the water) and sure enough...12 nice ripe idle targets...we took our time, trying for head shots for the three atlases, and pretty much back shooting everything else.
I MISSED the Ace of Spades achievement by ONE kill.

furthermore, the oceanic server is greyed out. i think its related.

Nopes, not related. Happened before, will happen again. It's also not related to spawn farming.

destroyed is programmer speak for when your destructor gets called. the thing that enables you to unallocate any dynamic memory the class members may have used. essentially the game decided that the structure that held all the lobby variables was no longer needed.

The error read something like "No servers are available at this time" after selecting a map.
I exclusively play on N.America servers since my internet is powered by my hamster, so I don't think it's related to Oceanic. I couldn't rejoin the games though despite the log off/on trick. Happened twice in less than a half hour.
